Comfort me through this day -
I give thanks upon waking every morning
Giving praise for all my blessings
Your love - My most precious gift.

I try to do my best in all my tasks
To give glory to Thine name
To serve You without shame.

Challenges I have to face
Give me strength O Lord
Shower me with Thine grace.

So many trials I must face
Burdens cast upon my heart
As if a test of faith.

My life is to serve you
Not to question why the day
But to be humble and obey.

Comfort me O lord
Comfort me through this day -
For only You have the knowledge
Of what I do not understand
I accept and ask not why.

Comfort me Lord I pray
Comfort me through this day -
And if my road is rough and long
So many burdens to bare
I will not forget you are with me.

Comfort me O Lord
Comfort me through this day -
Whatever you bring before me
I shall always find comfort in knowing
You have blessed me with Thine grace.
